Turbosound TA-500

The Turbosound TA-500 is a three-way 15" mid-high loudspeaker from the Aspect Series, configurable as either bi-amplified or tri-amplified depending on rig topology and engineer preference. A 15" LF transducer, a dedicated midrange driver and a 1" HF compression driver are arrayed on a low-distortion waveguide that delivers controlled, predictable coverage for medium-format touring and installation work. Bi-amp or tri-amp operation is selectable internally, giving system techs the flexibility to drive the LF in passive parallel with the MF/HF section in smaller setups, or run all three bands actively on larger productions with full processing per band. Engineered in the United Kingdom, the cabinet is built from 15 mm birch plywood with a semi-matte black finish and powder-coated perforated steel grille. Multiple internal rigging points support bracket mount, fly-bar suspension or stage-monitor deployment.
